It has been taking so long to write a new post. The end of school year is somehow very busy... it might be just an excuse.
On May 31st, we joined the Japan Day event at the central park.
My husband joined 4mile race and my daughter joined the kids race for the first time.
In Japan, almost every school has an athletic meet.So parents are used to see the kids footraces .However,my daughter's nursery doesn't have an athletic meet and I have never heard of school which have it.
When she was in the daycare in Japan,she joined a footrace.She was 2years old at that time and she cried and cried...So I was so excited with my daughter's run this time.
It was very short race but I enjoyed watching her running.She got 3rd prize.
After that we played "Yo-yo fishing " and face painting.
The event place was crowded around lunch time.
I wanted to eat "Gyu-don".But I gave up as so many people were waiting in line..
The event seemed a great success.
